About the role
The Logistics and Store Incharge is responsible for maintaining all machinery and assets in the store, ensuring they are functional and have a long lifespan. The role works closely with project teams and site engineers to coordinate material requirements and avoid workflow interruptions.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain all machineries and assets in good condition.
- Acquire knowledge of company projects and liaise with project teams to understand site requirements.
- Prepare and adjust schedules to keep stocks available and prevent delays.
- Ensure accurate accounting of store items to avoid loss, damage, or misuse.
- Organise inventory across sites to prevent duplicate purchases.
- Provide inventory, asset valuation, and stock requirement reports to management on demand.
- Label items with codes and enter them into the system.
- Coordinate weekly material needs with site engineers and raise purchase requests when needed.
- Update all inventories in the system for real‑time transparency.
- Receive deliveries, generate GRNs, and prepare transfer notes.
- Arrange transport of materials to sites efficiently to minimise cost and time.
Required profile
- Good knowledge of company projects and ability to liaise with project teams.
- Strong coordination skills with site engineers to forecast material needs.
