Occupational Therapist

About the role

Amana Healthcare, part of M42 and Mumtalakat, is opening its first Bahrain facility in Al Jasra. The hospital seeks a qualified Occupational Therapist to deliver long‑term and post‑acute rehabilitation services for diverse patient populations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for patients with physical, neurological, cognitive, and psychosocial conditions.
• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans aligned with rehabilitation goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence, ADLs, mobility, cognition, and quality of life.
• Support discharge planning, including home assessments, equipment recommendations, and caregiver education.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in line with hospital policy and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and ethical practice at all times.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Valid NHRA license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum 4–8 years of clinical experience, preferably in neurological rehabilitation, geriatrics, complex medical cases, or long‑term care.
