Occupational Therapist – Onsite, Bahrain

About the role

Amana Healthcare is opening its first facility in Bahrain, Al Jasra, offering long‑term care and post‑acute rehabilitation. The hospital seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the multidisciplinary team on site.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for patients with physical, neurological, cognitive and psychosocial conditions.
• Develop, implement and regularly review individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence and quality of life.
• Provide therapeutic interventions targeting activities of daily living, mobility, cognition and overall rehabilitation goals.
• Support discharge planning, including home assessments, equipment recommendations and caregiver education.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Valid NHRA license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum 6–8 years of clinical experience, preferably in neurological rehabilitation, geriatrics, complex medical cases or long‑term care.
