About the role
QIMA is seeking a part‑time Ethical Auditor (CSCA) to assess supplier factories on labor, health, safety and environmental standards. You will work on‑site, often with short notice, to ensure compliance with international standards and client procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct unannounced audits of manufacturing sites covering labor rights, health & safety, environmental security and related standards.
- Identify violations, engage with factory management and document findings in detailed reports for clients.
- Maintain the highest level of integrity throughout each audit, recognizing the impact on suppliers and clients.
- Provide expertise during client meetings to develop custom quality‑control requirements.
- Contribute ideas to improve the quality of QIMA’s operations projects.
Required profile
- Higher education degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, Social Sciences or a related field.
- APCSA registration at CSCA level.
- Proven experience in third‑party auditing, including recent SMETA, BSCI, SA8000 or WRAP audits.
- Experience in environmental audits.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel as required.
