Personal Banking Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a customer‑focused and service‑oriented professional with relevant customer service experience to join our Branch Banking team. The role involves handling frontline customer service activities, processing account requests and supporting the Branch Manager in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day frontline customer service activities and branch‑related formalities.
• Initiate and process customer requests, including account opening, account servicing and other requests.
• Assist customers with information and guidance on the bank’s products and services.
• Contribute to deposit mobilization and liability growth, achieve monthly deposit targets, and support the Branch Manager in achieving branch objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for customer acquisition and portfolio growth.
• Ensure customer requests and documentation are processed accurately in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to the Branch Manager in branch operations and other assigned activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in branch banking or customer service.
• Good understanding of branch operations, customer onboarding and banking products.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and generate business opportunities, particularly deposits/liability business.
• Target‑oriented with a proactive approach to customer acquisition and deposit mobilization.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team.
