Pharmacist – Full‑time Retail Pharmacy (Al‑Hidd)

About the role

We are seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our new community‑focused pharmacy in Al‑Hidd, Bahrain. The role involves dispensing prescriptions accurately, providing clear medication counseling, and supporting the launch and growth of the pharmacy.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications according to prescriptions and verify dosage calculations.
• Provide patients with counseling on proper use, side effects, and storage of medicines.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, potential drug interactions, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage inventory levels, handle stock replenishment, and maintain proper storage conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and pharmacy logs.
• Respond to customer inquiries and recommend appropriate over‑the‑counter products.
• Support wellness initiatives and promote health‑focused products.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and assist in establishing pharmacy operations for the opening.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist with a recognized degree and eligibility to practice in Bahrain.
• Strong knowledge of medications, drug interactions, and dosage calculations.
• Excellent communication skills for clear patient counseling.
• Attention to detail in prescription review and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with pharmacy inventory management and handling pharmaceutical products.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and high‑quality customer service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, collaborate with a diverse team, and adapt to a growing pharmacy environment.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience in Bahrain or the region is an advantage.
