Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacy

About the role

Elite Pharmacy WLL is launching a modern community pharmacy in Manama and seeks a full‑time pharmacist to join the team. You will work on‑site delivering safe, accurate medication dispensing and providing personalized counseling to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense and verify prescriptions, ensuring correct dosage, therapy appropriateness, and regulatory compliance.
• Counsel customers on medication use, potential side effects, and wellness products.
• Manage medication and health‑product inventory, monitor stock levels, and support ordering and storage procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation, assist with insurance claims and billing processes.
• Uphold safety, quality, and ethical standards within the pharmacy environment.
• Collaborate with a diverse team to create an efficient, customer‑focused service.

Required profile

• Recognized pharmacy degree and valid licensure or eligibility for licensure in Bahrain.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and prescription verification.
• Ability to provide clear, empathetic medication counseling in a retail setting.
• Attention to detail, commitment to patient safety, and adherence to professional ethics.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills; fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Previous retail or community pharmacy experience preferred but not mandatory.
