Planner – Project Scheduling for Joinery & Furniture Manufacturing

About the role

The Planner will support the planning and scheduling of joinery and furniture manufacturing projects, ensuring that timelines are realistic and deadlines are met. Working closely with Setting‑Out, Procurement, Production, Logistics and external clients, the role guarantees smooth project flow from inception to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating detailed project timelines, baseline schedules and dashboards for manufacturing projects.
• Identify critical‑path activities, dependencies and potential bottlenecks.
• Act as the main communication hub between Setting‑Out, Procurement, Production, Logistics, Project Management and external parties.
• Support material and resource coordination by collaborating with the Material Engineer and Procurement team, tracking orders and escalating delivery issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, track production status and help resolve coordination problems.
• Contribute to process improvements by providing operational support and proposing procedural innovations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design.
• 3‑5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling or operations within manufacturing or construction/fit‑out environments.
• Proven experience with Extension of Time techniques, baseline schedules, Earned Value Management and regular reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and understand proper sequencing.

Required skills

• Primavera P6 (preferred).
• MS Project (preferred).
• Project scheduling and baseline creation.
• Earned Value Management (EVM) and dashboard reporting.
