Project Management Engineering Professional (Project Lead Engineering)

About the role

The Project Management Engineering Professional will lead large‑scale engineering, construction and commissioning projects from concept to hand‑over. You will ensure delivery on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and close complex engineering projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocation strategies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction and operations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans.
• Manage contractors, suppliers and third‑party vendors to meet specifications and contractual obligations.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and provide regular project updates.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and environmental policies.
• Conduct project reviews, track performance metrics and apply corrective actions.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations and documentation for internal and external audiences.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
• 14‑16 years of progressive project management experience in engineering, construction and commissioning.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Solid knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
