Registered Nurse (Inpatient)

About the role

Amana Healthcare’s new hospital in Al Jasra, Bahrain, is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care on its acute‑care units. The RN will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe clinical practice, accurate documentation, and optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, vital‑sign monitoring and assistance with daily living activities.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond promptly to changes or emergencies, and escalate concerns to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in clinical records and EMR systems.
• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to optimise treatment plans and support safe discharge.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, medications and health‑management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with infection‑prevention protocols, nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Valid nursing license/registration from the national regulatory authority (NHRA or equivalent).
• Minimum 3‑5 years of inpatient or acute‑care nursing experience.
• Professionalism, teamwork and a commitment to patient safety.

Required skills

• BLS certification (mandatory).
• ACLS and/or PALS certification (preferred).
• Proficiency in medication administration, IV therapy and wound care.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
