Retail Director (Part‑time, Hybrid)

About the role

The Retail Director will lead the retail strategy and operations for Bay Collective on a part‑time, hybrid basis from Manama. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure that merchandise planning, store performance and brand initiatives are aligned to drive revenue and enhance the customer experience across both physical and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coach retail teams, setting sales targets and monitoring performance metrics.
• Oversee inventory and supply processes, optimise store layouts and coordinate online and offline channels.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations to increase brand visibility and drive revenue growth.
• Control the retail budget, report on financial performance and implement continuous improvements in processes and standards.

Required profile

• Proven retail leadership experience with a track record of merchandise planning, store performance and delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Strong team‑management skills, including coaching, performance oversight and building inclusive environments.
• Demonstrated sales success, target setting, data analysis and revenue‑growth strategy implementation.
• Operations expertise in inventory control, process optimisation and multi‑channel coordination.
• Budgeting and financial management experience, with ability to report on profitability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities, working cross‑functionally with marketing, operations and senior leadership.
• Experience in sports, entertainment or lifestyle retail is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or equivalent professional experience.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid set‑up based in Manama, with flexibility for event schedules and match days.
