Room Attendant – Hotel Housekeeping

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and detail‑oriented Room Attendant to join the Housekeeping team at Sofitel Bahrain. You will ensure guests enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in guest rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming and sanitising bathrooms.
• Replenish guest amenities, linens and supplies in rooms and bathrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of hallways, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries.
• Adhere to hotel policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed and participate in regular training sessions.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping or room attendant experience in a hotel or resort setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Basic English proficiency and good interpersonal communication.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques and safety protocols.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a professional and friendly demeanor.
