Runner – Luxury Hotel Dining Service

About the role

The Runner supports the service team at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay by delivering food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests in a luxury fine‑dining environment. The role ensures accurate, timely service while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely, professional, and organized manner.
• Verify that all orders are accurate, complete, and presented according to outlet standards before leaving the kitchen or bar.
• Communicate special requests, modifications, and dietary requirements to chefs and service staff.
• Assist servers with clearing and resetting tables, and maintain restaurant cleanliness.
• Support the team during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials.
• Interact courteously with guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to requests.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Keep service stations, kitchen pass, and dining areas clean and organized.
• Adhere to company policies, grooming standards, and luxury hospitality expectations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a restaurant, luxury hotel, or fine‑dining environment preferred.
• Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive attitude with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
• Physical ability to stand, walk for extended periods and safely carry trays.
