Senior Auditor - External Audit

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Auditor to lead external audit engagements for our clients in Bahrain. The role involves planning, executing and finalising audits while ensuring high‑quality service and compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage external audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, delivering excellent service and addressing concerns.
• Review and analyse financial statements and audit reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and communicate potential risks or issues to the audit team and clients.
• Train and mentor junior staff, supporting their professional development.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and changes in accounting and auditing standards.
• Participate in business development activities, including networking and proposal writing.
• Assist with ad‑hoc projects and tasks assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• CA, ACCA or a related professional qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit and assurance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
