Senior Fashion Designer

About the role

Anmar Gallery is seeking a talented Senior Fashion Designer to lead the creation of couture and womenswear collections. The role combines creative vision with commercial acumen to deliver collections that resonate with luxury markets.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Design Director to define seasonal direction and commercial strategy.
• Lead the full design process from research and concept development to sketching, sampling, fitting, and styling.
• Design dresses, eveningwear, and couture pieces, including original prints and surface designs.
• Manage fabric, trim, and supplier selection, ensuring cost efficiency and margin targets.
• Create production‑ready tech packs and brief tailoring and technical teams.
• Mentor junior designers and present collections to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in womenswear or couture design.
• Strong sketching, illustration, and garment construction abilities.
• Proven experience developing original prints, repeats, and placements.
• Deep knowledge of textiles, draping, pattern making, and fit for dresses and eveningwear.
• Diploma or degree in Fashion Design preferred.
