Shift Technician – Guest Villa Maintenance

About the role

The Shift Technician ensures that guest villas and public areas operate safely and efficiently by maintaining electrical, lighting, plumbing and HVAC systems. Working on a rotating roster, you will respond to routine maintenance tasks as well as emergency situations, supporting the engineering team to keep the resort fully operational.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance plans for guest villas, covering lighting, plumbing, HVAC and electrical installations.
• Install and service electrical components such as switches, resistors, circuit‑breaker panels, wiring, alarms and safety devices.
• Standby for after‑midnight emergency electrical work, troubleshoot hazards, and repair or replace faulty equipment.
• Respond to fire‑alarm faults, generator breakdowns, STP and desalination plant issues.
• Maintain accurate records of parts used, repairs performed and maintenance activities.
• Participate in fire‑safety drills and support the engineering team during resort emergencies.

Required profile

• Experience in electrical and facility maintenance, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment.
• Willingness to work night shifts and be on call for emergency situations.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and ability to document work accurately.
