Site Engineer – Doors & Joinery (Bahrain)

About the role

As a Site Engineer – Doors & Joinery at UNICO MEA, you will be responsible for overseeing the site installation of doors and joinery works, ensuring that works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. You will coordinate with consultants, contractors and site teams to ensure smooth execution.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the installation of doors, joinery, and related works on site.
• Review shop drawings, specifications and project requirements before and during installation.
• Conduct site measurements and verify site conditions prior to installation.
• Monitor progress to ensure works are completed according to the project schedule.
• Prepare and submit Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and Work Inspection Requests (WIR) and follow up for approvals.
• Coordinate material deliveries, inspections and installation activities.
• Identify and resolve technical and site execution issues.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates and relevant documentation.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in site supervision, preferably in doors, joinery or interior fit‑out projects.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and site teams.
• Bahrain project experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on site in Bahrain and travel between project locations as required.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of doors, joinery and interior fit‑out works.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Good knowledge of site installation methods, measurements and construction details.
