Static Mechanical Engineer

About the role

The energy organization seeks a Static Mechanical Engineer to support the design, procurement and construction of static equipment for refining and petrochemical projects in Bahrain.

Key responsibilities

• Review vendor drawings, respond to queries and follow up with vendors.
• Provide engineering support to Operations & Maintenance teams.
• Prepare data sheets, specifications and material requisitions for vessels, drums, heat exchangers, separators, boilers, tanks and related equipment.
• Ensure compliance with contract law, procedures and contract preparation.
• Apply knowledge of construction methods and engineering principles throughout project execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in design and construction of engineered projects within the refining and petrochemical industry in the GCC.
• Broad knowledge of recognized American and British design codes for on‑site and off‑site equipment such as tankage, heaters and heat exchangers.
• Strong understanding of contract law and procurement processes.
