Student Supervisor

About the role

The International School of Choueifat is seeking a Student Supervisor to ensure a safe, orderly, and disciplined environment for its learners. The role focuses on monitoring student behavior, supporting teachers, and coordinating daily student movements throughout the campus.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct corridor, bathroom, and classroom checks before the start of the school day.
• Coordinate student line‑up before, during, and after recess with SLO prefects.
• Manage travel time between classes to minimise downtime.
• Mentor students on the importance of discipline and a safe learning environment.
• Maintain a quiet atmosphere when students re‑enter classrooms after breaks.
• Ensure timely attendance of students for all lessons and recess periods.
• Enter accurate data into the SABIS School Management System (SSMS/SIS) including attendance and infractions.
• Contact parents regarding student absences or disciplinary matters.
• Observe classes to uphold a calm learning environment and prevent bullying or fighting.
• Accompany students to the bus area after school and verify correct bus allocation.
• Prepare daily reports on teacher observations, student infractions, and complaints.
• Assist with exam hall supervision and enforce safety rules.
• Participate in weekly meetings and training sessions on student behavior.

Required profile

• Experience working with students in a school setting.
• Ability to mentor and discuss discipline with students.
• Willingness to attend regular meetings and training on student behavior.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the SABIS School Management System (SSMS/SIS) for data entry and reporting.
