Tech Lead

About the role

We are a fast‑growing procurement and technology company based in Riyadh, building innovative solutions to simplify procurement processes. As a Tech Lead (Senior Software Engineer) you will drive the design, development and maintenance of our core backend services, enabling customers to optimise their procurement workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design of secure, reliable, high‑performance backend systems.
• Design and implement scalable APIs, micro‑services and backend services for the procure‑to‑pay platform.
• Collaborate with product, frontend and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Integrate third‑party enterprise systems such as Oracle Fusion.
• Optimise database queries and manage MongoDB data storage for performance and scalability.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, delivering upgrades and enhancements.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews and promote best practices.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting to ensure system health and reliability.
• Contribute to strategic decisions on backend architecture and technology stack.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior backend engineer leading system architecture.
• Strong hands‑on background with the MEAN stack and building distributed micro‑service architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally with product and DevOps teams.
• Experience integrating enterprise ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion.
• Track record of mentoring developers and driving technical excellence.
