Technical Trainer – Electrical Power Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Trainer specialized in Electrical Power Engineering to deliver high‑impact training across the Middle East and Africa region. You will create and present training sessions on our testing and diagnostic solutions, both onsite and virtually, and ensure customers gain practical knowledge of power system technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate training courses (classroom, webinars, e‑learning) on Omicron products and applications.
• Develop and maintain training materials such as presentations, manuals, and online modules.
• Tailor training content to the technical level and specific needs of each customer.
• Support product demonstrations, workshops and knowledge‑transfer activities.
• Contribute to application notes, technical documentation and continuous improvement of training programs.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product releases and developments in power system technology.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• In‑depth experience with power systems (generation, transmission, distribution) and protection testing.
• Minimum three years of experience delivering technical training safely and effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as Arabic or French are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50 % of the time.
