Tourism Officer (Part-time, Hybrid)

About the role

The Tourism Officer will support the promotion of local and regional tourism offerings through research, content creation, and digital campaigns. Working part‑time in a hybrid setting, you will collaborate with internal marketing and design teams to showcase attractions, experiences, and events to prospective visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Research and compile information on tourism attractions, experiences, and events.
• Coordinate with tourism partners and gather accurate partner data.
• Assist in creating and publishing content for social media and websites.
• Help plan and execute promotional activities and digital campaigns.
• Monitor campaign performance, prepare basic reports, and suggest improvements.
• Contribute ideas for tourism branding and lead generation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent and engaging messaging.

Required profile

• Knowledge of local and regional tourism destinations and travel trends.
• Familiarity with basic digital marketing concepts and social media platforms.
• Strong research, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work hybrid, manage time effectively, and engage with external stakeholders.
• Customer‑service mindset and proficiency with office productivity tools.
• Relevant education or experience in tourism, hospitality, marketing, or related fields is a plus.
