Waiter – Silk's Restaurant

About the role

The Waiter will join the service team at Silk's Restaurant, the all‑day dining venue of Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain. You will be the front‑line host for guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Support the service team with food pick‑up, table service, clearing tables and station refills.
• Deliver food orders to guests promptly and accurately, providing a clear explanation of each dish.
• Act as the liaison between Front of House and Back of House staff.
• Assist with table setting, placing appropriate tableware, utensils and napkins.
• Check in with customers, take additional orders, refill water and respond to guest requests.
• Remove used dishes and utensils while maintaining food safety standards.
• Communicate guest feedback and special requests to restaurant staff.
• Follow sustainable practices in waste management and purchasing.
• Cover additional duties in the absence of a line manager or senior staff, including working in other departments if required.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of the menu and all products served at Silk's Restaurant.
• Ability to explain dishes professionally and answer guest questions.
• Strong teamwork attitude and flexibility to support different areas of the restaurant.
• Commitment to maintaining high service standards and sustainable practices.
