Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Hotel (Full‑time)

About the role

The Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain is seeking enthusiastic waiters and waitresses to deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests in its ultra‑luxury villas and restaurants. You will work as part of a dedicated team that upholds the brand’s high standards of service, presentation and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain uniform standards and adhere to the outlet’s service sequence.
• Present menus, explain dishes and daily specials, and recommend beverages.
• Serve and clear food and beverage items in a professional, unobtrusive manner.
• Prepare the outlet for service according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep service stations stocked and clear throughout the shift.
• Handle cash and credit‑card transactions following accounting guidelines.
• Report any accidents, guest complaints or safety issues to the manager immediately.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down buffets, displays and side stations.
• Participate in briefings, training sessions and special projects as required.

Required profile

• Secondary school education; hospitality degree or diploma is a plus.
• 1‑2 years’ experience as a waiter/waitress in a five‑star hotel.
• Advanced business English and proficiency in Arabic.
• Strong food and beverage knowledge and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal communication skills.
• Previous experience working in the Middle East and familiarity with fire‑ and life‑safety systems.
