Compliance Advisor – Remote (Bahrain)

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level Compliance Advisor to join our governance‑focused team. Working remotely from Bahrain, you will help business units navigate regulatory requirements, strengthen internal controls, and foster an ethical culture.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compliance guidance and advisory support to business teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on operations.
• Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and control evaluations.
• Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with internal audits, regulatory inspections, and investigations.
• Review contracts, documentation, and business processes for compliance.
• Prepare compliance reports, risk summaries, and management updates.
• Deliver training and awareness programs to employees.
• Maintain compliance records and reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with legal, risk, audit, HR, and operational teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Compliance or a related field.
• 3–6+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, regulatory affairs, audit or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
