Contracts Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

The Construction Group is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee all contractual aspects of its civil engineering and building projects in Bahrain. You will act as the main liaison between clients, contractors and consultants, ensuring that contractual obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contracts from tender stage through to project completion, safeguarding the company’s contractual rights.
• Attend progress review meetings with clients and consultants, handling change orders, variations and dispute resolution.
• Support Project Managers by preparing contractual correspondence and identifying contractual risks.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Operations and Commercial Manager on lifecycle contract management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Contracts Manager for main contractors in the GCC.
• Strong knowledge of contracts commonly used in Bahrain and the wider GCC (FIDIC, MoW, lump‑sum, unit‑price).
• Excellent negotiation, communication and organisational abilities, able to work under pressure on multiple projects.
• Degree qualified, preferably with additional training in construction law or claims.
