Diagnostic Expert

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Diagnostic Expert to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will ensure vehicles are diagnosed accurately, repairs are carried out efficiently, and customers receive professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all assigned work quickly, economically, and to company and manufacturer standards.
• Advise the workshop team leader on additional work required and coordinate fault rectification.
• Supervise and assist in training apprentices when requested by senior technicians or service executives.
• Maintain high competence through on‑site training, supplier courses, and technical bulletins.
• Discuss vehicle problems with customers, providing full involvement and clear communication.
• Uphold the company’s professional image and quality of service in all customer interactions.
• Keep equipment, protective clothing, and work areas clean, tidy, and safe.
• Support management in introducing new methods to improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of progressive experience in a similar diagnostic or automotive role.
• Diploma or relevant vocational certification/degree in a related field.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑team collaboration.
• Proven problem‑solving capabilities with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with industry‑standard software, tools, and platforms.
