About the role

Marriott International is seeking a dedicated Gardener to maintain the appearance and functionality of its property grounds in Manama, Bahrain. The role involves daily upkeep of lawns, flower beds, irrigation systems, and outdoor equipment to ensure a pleasant environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the visual appeal of property grounds, fountains, planters, and other features.
• Clean, replace, or repair fountains, planters, and other ground features.
• Install new flowers, bulbs, grass, trees, and shrubs; replace and transplant as needed.
• Water, weed, trim, and maintain flower beds, baskets, and boxes.
• Trim and prune trees and shrubs; edge grass in hard‑to‑reach areas.
• Mow, edge, rake leaves, and perform general lawn maintenance.
• Install, maintain, and operate irrigation systems.
• Remove trash from exterior bins and operate dump trucks, tractors, trucks, or utility vehicles to transport equipment and debris.
• Wash, clean, and refuel equipment after use; follow all safety and security policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related grounds‑keeping or landscaping experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Operating dump trucks, tractors, and utility vehicles.
• Operating and maintaining irrigation systems.
• Mowing, edging, and general lawn care techniques.
