Junior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support daily finance operations. You will play a key role in invoicing, revenue reconciliation, collections follow‑up, and reporting, ensuring our financial processes run smoothly and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare invoices, receipts, and vouchers in Zoho accurately and on time.
• Follow up with clients to secure timely payments and meet monthly collection targets.
• Perform daily revenue reconciliations and keep financial records up‑to‑date.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and support finance‑related analysis.
• Help improve receivables processes and contribute to finance system enhancements.
• Respond to Pitch Owners via the Malaeb Finance WhatsApp channel professionally and promptly.
• Support the Finance Manager with ad‑hoc tasks and finance projects.
• Reconcile revenue reports with the Business Development team to ensure accurate invoicing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of accounting experience, including internships or university placements.
• Strong communication, high attention to detail, and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formulas, spreadsheet management).
• Familiarity with accounting software, preferably Zoho.
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
