Kitchen & Laundry Technician

About the role

The Kitchen & Laundry Technician joins the Engineering team at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, ensuring that all kitchen and laundry equipment operates safely and efficiently. This position supports uninterrupted service for guests and staff by maintaining high standards of performance and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults in ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, steamers, washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel departments.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before they affect operations.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure optimal functionality.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment deficiencies.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and hotel standards.
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers when required.
• Support the Engineering team with general maintenance tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment drawings.
• Good English communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
