Lifeguard – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests using the hotel’s swimming facilities. This full‑time position involves active monitoring of the pool area, rapid response to emergencies, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Observe swimmers, identify distress, and apply appropriate rescue techniques.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations, promoting safe and enjoyable use.
• Provide first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, towels, and surrounding areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Welcome guests, ensure professional appearance, and assist individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior lifeguard experience required.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site and respond quickly to situations.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 lb unassisted.

Required skills

• Current CPR certification.
• Current First Aid certification.
