Logistics Manager

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead the logistics and warehouse functions for a reputable company operating in Bahrain. This role is open to candidates based in India and involves overseeing end‑to‑end supply chain activities in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations.
• Manage inventory levels, forecasting, and demand planning to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Oversee transportation management, including carrier selection and route optimization.
• Lead procurement activities and negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers.
• Conduct cost analysis, budgeting, and implement cost‑saving initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate risks across the supply chain.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve operational issues promptly.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management.
• At least 4–5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting (e.g., fiberglass, chemicals, plastics, steel, construction materials).
• Prior experience in the GCC region is mandatory.
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Professional certifications such as APICS/ASCM, CILT or CSCMP are a plus.
