Logistics & Transport Driver

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Logistics & Transport Driver to join Exterran in Manama. The role involves safe and efficient movement of goods across Bahrain, adhering to company QHSE standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Obey traffic laws and follow established transportation procedures.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment (gas, oil, water, tires, lights, brakes).
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
• Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered.
• Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.
• Verify inventory loads against shipping papers.
• Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries.
• Maintain vehicle logs, cargo records, and billing statements in accordance with regulations.
• Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions.
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic situations using telephone or mobile radio.
• Follow company QHSE driving standards and procedures.
• Participate in material deliveries for purchases and repairs across the Bahrain border.
• Be familiar with Bahrain customs and clearance regulations.
• Comply with the company journey plan procedures.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license for heavy and light vehicles.
• Minimum 3 years of related driving experience.
• High school graduate.
• Basic proficiency in English (read, write, speak).
• Ability to work under pressure and collaborate with a team.

Required skills

• Heavy and light vehicle operation.
• Knowledge of QHSE safety standards.
