Mechanical Engineering Adjunct Faculty (Part-time)

About the role

The College is seeking a part‑time Adjunct Faculty member to teach Mechanical Engineering courses. The successful candidate will join a collaborative academic team, contribute to curriculum development, and support student success.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate (and where applicable postgraduate) lectures, labs, and tutorials.
• Prepare course syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and assessment materials.
• Grade assignments, exams, projects and provide constructive feedback.
• Advise students on course selection and academic pathways.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design or revise degree and certificate curricula.
• Stay current with advances in mechanical engineering and related technologies.
• Invigilate examinations and ensure assessment quality assurance.
• Perform general administrative duties related to teaching and assessments.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects or theses.
• Undertake any additional duties reasonably required by management.

Required profile

• Minimum Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; PhD preferred.
• Proven experience teaching at the undergraduate level (Master’s holders) and, for PhD holders, at postgraduate level.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is advantageous.
