MEP Operations Manager

About the role

Nass MEP is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the delivery of multiple mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects across Bahrain. The role spans the full project lifecycle—from pre‑construction planning through execution, testing, commissioning, and final handover—ensuring safety, schedule adherence, budget control, and compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of several MEP projects, guaranteeing alignment with approved schedules, specifications, budgets and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop detailed project plans, scopes of work, timelines, milestones, resource requirements and schedules.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures and implement cost‑control measures.
• Support pre‑construction and work‑winning activities, including estimates, planning assumptions and technical coordination.
• Lead procurement of MEP materials, equipment and services in partnership with the Supply Chain team.
• Allocate and optimise manpower, plant, machinery and other resources across projects.
• Supervise Project Managers, engineers and site teams, ensuring timely and effective execution.
• Review technical specifications, shop drawings, BOQs, equipment data sheets, method statements and material submissions.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, documentation, close‑out activities and final handover.
• Monitor progress, identify risks or delays and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare regular progress, cost and performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple MEP projects in the construction sector.
• Strong leadership and commercial awareness with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent understanding of Bahraini regulatory and HSSE requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs and deliver projects profitably.
• Effective communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
