Occupational Therapist

About the role

Amana Healthcare’s new facility in Al Jasra, Bahrain, is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join its multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. You will work directly with patients recovering from complex medical conditions, helping them regain independence and improve quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, psychological and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing activities of daily living, work skills and community participation.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, monitor progress and adjust plans based on evidence‑based practice.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers on adaptive techniques, assistive devices and environmental modifications.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, support discharge planning and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Valid NHRA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• 6‑8 years of clinical experience, preferably in neurological rehabilitation, geriatrics, complex medical cases or long‑term care.
