Production Engineer

About the role

Havelock One Interiors is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to lead day‑to‑day manufacturing activities in its Askar workshop. You will work closely with supervisors and team leads to ensure efficient production of bespoke metal and joinery fittings for the Middle East market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily production work in the workshop, coordinating 50‑60 fabrication and welding professionals.
• Monitor and adjust production schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Supervise a dedicated team of 20 fabricators and welders.
• Produce hand‑sketches for bespoke metal fabrication detailing.
• Maintain efficiency of sheet‑metal machines and enforce 5S principles.
• Ensure compliance with PPE requirements and overall workshop discipline.
• Utilise basic knowledge of Autodesk and Epicor for production tracking.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the sheet‑metal fabrication industry.
• Strong knowledge of sheet‑metal machinery and processes, including laser cutting, press brake, rolling, and MIG/TIG welding.
• Proven experience in metal interior fabrication and bespoke joinery projects.
