Production Engineer – Manufacturing & Fabrication

About the role

Havelock One Interiors is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to lead day‑to‑day manufacturing activities in its Askar workshop. You will work closely with supervisors and team leads to ensure efficient fabrication of bespoke metal and joinery products for the Middle‑East market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead production activities alongside supervisors, managing 50‑60 fabrication and welding staff.
• Monitor and adjust daily production schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Supervise a dedicated team of 20 fabrication and welding professionals.
• Maintain 5S standards and enforce PPE compliance on the shop floor.
• Ensure optimal performance of sheet‑metal machinery, including laser cutters, press brakes, and rolling equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the sheet‑metal fabrication industry.
• Strong knowledge of sheet‑metal machinery and processes such as laser cutting, press brake, rolling, MIG/TIG welding, and related fabrication tools.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee production under engineering supervision.

Required skills

• Hand‑sketching for bespoke metal detailing.
• Basic proficiency with Autodesk software.
• Basic knowledge of Epicor ERP system.
• Experience with laser cutting, press brake, rolling, MIG welding, TIG welding, and general fabrication tools.
