Project Director – Desalination (EPC)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead large‑scale desalination EPC projects across the GCC region. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, develop budgets, control costs and manage schedules.
• Plan, sequence and execute desalination projects, overseeing resource allocation and risk mitigation.
• Prepare detailed work plans, project schedules and allocate manpower, equipment and budget.
• Monitor project expenditure, cash flow and financial records.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance, EHS standards and statutory requirements at the site.
• Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors and maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or Power engineering.
• Proven leadership experience delivering EPC desalination projects.
• Extensive exposure to complex project environments, preferably within the GCC market.
• Stable career progression with long‑term commitment.
• Age limit up to 52 years.
