Projects Manager

About the role

The Projects Manager will lead fast‑track fit‑out projects for retail stores, food & beverage outlets, hotels and commercial offices. Working independently, the role is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering multiple projects safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Convert tender programmes into detailed construction schedules and define client procurement requirements.
• Set project objectives, scope, budgeting, scheduling and allocate internal resources such as QA/QC, health & safety and MEP management.
• Select and manage subcontractors, approve interim payments and final accounts, and ensure resource efficiency.
• Attend site meetings as the company representative, maintain accurate progress records and report weekly to senior management.
• Oversee health and safety on all sites, ensure compliance with company procedures and manage rectification processes.
• Compile and hand over Operations & Maintenance manuals and manage project close‑out in line with contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Minimum 7‑8 years of experience with reputable fit‑out contracting companies in the Middle East.
• At least 10 years of total experience in construction project management.
• Strong technical, execution and commercial abilities, especially in woodworking, joinery and timber manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage large‑scale fit‑out projects.
