Restaurant Manager – Premium Dining

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our premium dining venue in Manama. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving business performance in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all day‑to‑day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high guest satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, and develop the front‑of‑house team, fostering a positive, high‑performing work culture.
• Supervise Assistant Managers and staff, enforcing company standards and service procedures.
• Prepare the restaurant for each service, maintaining cleanliness, presentation, safety, and operational readiness.
• Monitor floor operations, table allocations, and service flow to maximize efficiency and revenue.
• Build strong guest relationships, handle feedback, and resolve complaints promptly.
• Collaborate with reservations, back‑of‑house, and support teams to optimize bookings and daily coordination.
• Drive commercial performance through cover maximisation, upselling, and KPI monitoring.
• Manage labour costs via effective scheduling and workforce planning.
• Control operational expenses, inventory, and stock ordering to minimise waste.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and cash handling policies.
• Prepare operational reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of restaurant management experience in a high‑volume or premium dining setting.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Excellent guest service and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Solid understanding of restaurant operations, food‑and‑beverage service, and hospitality standards.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and labour planning.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
