About the role
The Runner ensures smooth food service by delivering dishes, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting the restaurant team. This position is essential for providing a seamless dining experience for guests.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, assist with order taking and reduce waiting times.
- Deliver bread, food, and beverages to tables following established procedures.
- Clean and polish equipment, glassware, crockery, cutlery, and chinaware.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas.
- Assist in training new employees during induction.
- Participate in closing duties, including checking condiment expiry dates, replenishing supplies, and handling dirty linen.
Required profile
- High School Diploma.
- Fluency in English.
- 1‑2 years of experience in a similar restaurant role.
- Strong communication, customer focus, initiative, attention to detail, cultural awareness, teamwork, and adaptability.
