Security Engineer

About the role

The Security Engineer will join the team in Bahrain on a full‑time, onsite basis. The role focuses on deploying, configuring and managing security solutions across network, endpoint, cloud and email environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage network, endpoint, cloud, and email security solutions.
• Monitor security events using SIEM platforms and investigate potential threats.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and track remediation.
• Support incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery.
• Implement and maintain security best practices, policies, and standards.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity, security engineering or security operations.
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection and cloud security.
• Experience with SIEM, vulnerability management, threat detection and incident response.
• Familiarity with Microsoft security technologies such as Microsoft Defender.
• Understanding of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST or CIS Controls.
