Stewarding Supervisor

About the role

As a Stewarding Supervisor at Hilton, you will lead the back‑of‑house team responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in all kitchen support areas. You will ensure that guests experience a seamless, memorable stay through meticulous stewardship of inventory, supplies, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise stewarding operations, guaranteeing cleanliness, organization, and efficiency across kitchen support zones.
• Lead and coach the back‑of‑house team, monitoring performance and fostering a positive work environment.
• Manage inventory of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and supplies; place orders to meet event and daily operational needs.
• Conduct regular stock takes, identify loss patterns, and implement measures to minimize waste while maintaining par levels.
• Raise purchase orders, reconcile invoices, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality products within budget.
• Collaborate with Finance, Events, and other departments to support seamless operations.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards to protect guests and team members.
