Technical Trainer – Electrical Power Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Trainer specialized in Electrical Power Engineering to join Omicron’s global team. You will design and deliver engaging training programmes for customers across the Middle East and Africa, covering our testing, diagnostic and cybersecurity solutions for power systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct onsite, virtual and webinar training sessions on Omicron products and applications.
• Create and maintain training materials such as presentations, manuals and e‑learning modules.
• Tailor training content to the specific technical level and needs of each customer.
• Support product demonstrations, workshops and knowledge‑transfer activities.
• Contribute to application notes, technical documentation and continuous improvement of training programmes.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product developments and emerging power‑system technologies.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• In‑depth experience in power systems (generation, transmission, distribution) and protection testing.
• Minimum three years of experience delivering technical training safely and effectively.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as Arabic or French are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50 % of the time.
