Training Specialist

About the role

NTU International is seeking a senior Training Specialist to design and deliver communication and media training programmes for a EU policy outreach project covering North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The role supports DG MENA’s day‑to‑day communication activities, strengthening the visibility and impact of EU initiatives across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver workshops, seminars and capacity‑building sessions on strategic communication, media engagement and digital communication.
• Develop training materials, toolkits, presentations and practical exercises tailored to diverse audiences.
• Facilitate interactive workshops, group discussions and simulation exercises.
• Assess participants’ learning needs, adapt content accordingly and evaluate training outcomes.
• Prepare post‑training reports with recommendations and provide coaching/mentoring to communication professionals.
• Support the creation of sustainable learning resources and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in communication, media or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of general experience in communication/media.
• At least 3 years of experience designing and delivering training seminars.
• Proven facilitation skills.
• Fluency in English and French and/or Arabic as relevant.
