Visual Commercial – Retail Visual Merchandiser

About the role

The Visual Commercial is responsible for creating and maintaining attractive product displays within Zara stores. Working closely with the Senior Visual Commercial and the department manager, you will ensure visual standards boost sales and enhance the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Visual Commercial in communicating sales plans and targets to the shop team and monitor performance.
• Help assign routine and non‑routine tasks across the visual merchandising department.
• Support inventory maintenance and product placement alongside the Department Manager.
• Greet customers and ensure they receive timely, high‑quality service in line with store standards.
• Distribute and arrange merchandise to maximise space, following company guidelines on colour, harmony and customer profile.
• Control and monitor the sales budget for the section, generate reports, propose action plans and execute merchandising tasks such as updating mannequins, prices, posters and pictures.

Required profile

• High school diploma; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• At least one year of experience in retail or a similar visual merchandising role.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong product knowledge across all departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with shop or stock management tools.
