Visual Merchandiser

About the role

The Visual Merchandiser will develop, deliver and communicate visual concepts that promote the brand, its products and services within the store environment. This role also trains and coaches the store team and oversees daily, weekly and seasonal visual merchandising tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure brand identity and presentation standards are consistently achieved in windows and in‑store through eye‑catching displays that incorporate commercial sales opportunities.
• Implement brand‑specific visual merchandising standards and coordinate store displays in line with brand guidelines and strategy.
• Create floor plans, layout designs and visual impact plans that maximise product placement and category organisation.
• Arrange merchandise, signage, fixtures and guide in‑store layout; use creative lighting and photography to document changes.
• Maximise placement of new lines, re‑merchandise the store when trends evolve, and ensure proper merchandising of all items.
• Collect reviews and feedback on merchandise displays.
• Collaborate with operations, brand management and sales teams to drive sales and achieve commercial goals.
• Participate in pre‑opening activities to ensure brand standards are correctly implemented.
• Conduct market and lifestyle trend research to keep visual concepts current.

Required profile

• Proven ability to develop and communicate visual concepts that align with brand identity.
• Experience training and coaching store teams on visual merchandising practices.
• Strong organisational skills to manage daily, weekly and seasonal visual tasks.
• Ability to create floor plans and layout designs that optimise visual impact.
• Attention to detail in arranging merchandise, signage and fixtures.
• Proactive approach to researching market trends and incorporating them into store displays.
