Work Preparator / Draftsman – Marine & Shipyard Project

About the role

Elite Hire Service is recruiting Work Preparators and Draftsmen for a major marine and shipyard project in Bahrain. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and interpreting technical drawings to support construction and engineering activities on site.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed work drawings and documentation for marine and shipyard structures.
• Interpret engineering specifications and convert them into accurate drafting outputs.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure design intent is met.
• Maintain drawing archives and ensure revisions are up‑to‑date.
• Support overtime requirements as needed to meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of relevant experience within the GCC.
• Proven drafting and work preparation experience, preferably on marine or shipyard projects.
• Ability to read, prepare, and interpret technical drawings.
• Up‑to‑date CV and relevant professional certificates.
