Assistant Restaurant Manager – Italian Speaking

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to support daily operations at our Primavera location in Manama. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring high service standards, and contributing to menu planning while maintaining a focus on guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising daily shift operations and team performance.
• Handle employee questions, provide feedback, and monitor compliance with service standards.
• Ensure all staff have the necessary supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
• Communicate food quality and service issues to the Chef and Restaurant Manager.
• Monitor alcohol service in line with local regulations.
• Manage budgetary targets and strive to exceed financial goals.
• Open and close restaurant shifts, performing duties across all service areas as needed.
• Interact with guests, gather feedback, resolve complaints, and promote exceptional customer service.
• Supervise staffing levels to meet operational and financial objectives.
• Lead ongoing training initiatives, coach employees, and enforce performance expectations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, or Business Administration with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in Italian is required.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
